Amanda Spencer

B.A., Colorado College, M.S.W. University of Vermont. Director of Client Services.

Amanda Spencer joined Mason Associates in the spring of 2009, as the Director of Client Services. Born and raised in New York City, Amanda attended Brearley and Riverdale Country Day School. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Colorado College, and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Vermont.

Since earning the M.S.W., Amanda gained extensive experience working as a school social worker with students and their parents, teachers, counselors and administrators in an alternative Vermont public school for teenage boys. She continues to work as an outpatient school therapist in a mainstream Vermont elementary school. Amanda has integrated her passion for dogs in her outpatient practice. She has trained two certified therapy dogs for her work in schools. She is a member of NASW.

Amanda is married to Rob Wilczynski, a former curator of nautical archeology, professional Scuba diver and rugby player. They have three rambunctious sons, and the two well-behaved dogs.
