Kathryn Warshow Meyer

A mental health practitioner for more than fifteen years, Kathy lives in Park City, Utah. She sees new clients at our office there. Kathy also will visit current and prospective clients in their therapeutic school or wilderness programs to begin work preparing for the transition home or to the next placement. Her willingness to visit clients in the field gives Mason Associates the rare ability to work with families whose children already have left home and started their intervention before hiring Mason Associates. Often, these families have made the first placement off the web or from a personal referral, without use of an educational consultant, but are wondering where to go next. Kathy will go visit the child, confer with the wilderness therapist and then make recommendations to the family. Kathy also regularly visits current Mason Associates clients to check their progress in the therapeutic schools in the region.

Kathy has worked as a therapist in private practice, in public schools, community mental health and residential treatment settings. Prior to joining Mason Associates she had a solo educational consulting practice. Kathy’s husband, James, is the Head of a therapeutic boarding school. They have three children ages 8 – 13.
